‘Cause I Don’t Remember Who I Was Before You

This work explores the quiet shift that happens when connection reshapes identity- when something, or someone, becomes a reference point you can’t quite return from. Forms gather and unfurl toward a softened centre, suggesting memory, attachment, and the way certain moments permanently alter the landscape of who we are.

Rather than loss, the painting holds transformation with tenderness. There is movement here, but it is inward...a sense of becoming, of layers rearranging themselves around what now matters most.
